The Steps Involved

  1. Your Energy Psychology practitioner chooses to participate in the research and asks if you wish to participate in the research – if yes, the you complete the first survey before you begin sessions (or immediately after first session) on the Participant Page below
  2. You will also complete the mid-session survey and final survey on the Participant Page below, with your practitioner
  3. The researchers may send the follow-up survey reminders at 3- and 6-months 

OVERVIEW OF THE MEASURES WE ARE USING

  • Psychological distress
  • General happiness
  • Well-Being
  • Perception of body states
  • General psychological symptoms
  • Childhood distress

NOTE

  • We will ask for an email address to connect the surveys, but no other identifying information 

*Between 1st April 2024 and 31st July 2024 and to the first 50 participants, the study is offering a cash

payment of USD$60 if you complete both surveys – before and after you complete your EFT sessions

(Ethical clearance has been provided by Bond University for this). When you finish your EFT sessions

with your EFT practitioner, please complete the final survey and get in touch with the Chief Investigator

Client First Survey

This survey is for clients attending sessions to consent and complete the survey at the START of therapy.

Half Way Survey

This survey is for clients to complete when they are mid-way through their Energy Psychology sessions.

Final Client Survey

This survey is for clients to complete when they have completed their Energy Psychology sessions.
